Elmira Chess Club

Hello and welcome to the Elmira Chess Club! We are a small but passionate group of players who meet in the Hub room of Elmira Ontario's Woolwich Memorial Centre every Sunday from 12:30PM to 4:30PM. Run by the father and son group Scott Kuehl and Sean Kuehl, the club seeks to grow the local area chess community and introduce members to everything chess has to offer through games, special events like Theme Tournaments, Club Championship Tournaments, Simultaneous Exhibitions and more!

Elmira Chess Club Championship

Where: Hub Room, Woolwich Memorial Center, Elmira Ontario

Format: 7 Player Round Robin, CFC Rated

Time Control: Game in 90 minutes

Round 1: 1PM, January 25th, 2026

Round 2: 1PM, February 1st

Round 3: 1PM, February 8th

Closed for Family Day February 15th

Round 4: 1PM, February 22nd

Round 5: 1PM, March 1st

Round 6: 1PM, March 8th

Round 7: 1PM, March 15th

CFC Membership Required

Entry Fee: $10 with CFC Membership or 30$ including entry fee and $20 CFC Membership Fee
